Took my chip out to day because it was tapped in badly.

So anyone know f its 165 or 195 :-?

If is was on the car already and everything was fine, take a look on the injectors color. Std one are blue and the chip for it is a 165. Uprated ones are beige and the chip for it is a 195.

blue injectors can coupe up to 180bhp or so.
beige ones... some ppl says 220 others says 240bhp.

they flow more than beiges, may have been liv mapped or just bodged together, hows the car running?

You can't tell the chip by looking at it - even if the markings tally up with a preset map it could have been flashed.

Some 701s are black, those in the BMW M3 for example, but then again replacement std FRST ones could also be black.

What boost are you running?

10 psi on a standard intercooler at the moment, I bought the car just having a had a rebuild, as the previous owner had lost his licence for drink driving. As soon as I get paid this month im going to buy a bigger intercooler.
