Superchips?
Hi people!, long time since i've been on here, i'm usually at http://www.zetecs.com as i have a zetec-s!
But thought i'd post here to sponge off your great wisdom of modding!.
Anyone here had any experiences with Superchips?. I have my car booked in on Wednesday for it, plus a power run on the rolling road after, and really want to get opinions on what to really expect. The superchips site says +8bhp, i cant help but get worried that i'll get this done and there will be no noticable difference. I know its meant to take away the flat spots, improve throttle respnse etc etc, but i want to know if this is a difference that you can really feel and is it really worth it!. Just so you know, i already have a magnex cat-back exhuast and pipercross induction kit, which is why the superchip seems like the next choice. I recon i've probably got 107 - 110bhp at the mo. It certainly feels quick!.
Any advice would be appriciated!

yeah i was worried when i considered getting mine done....they can show good gains mate...but some people i know have even lost power. if youve already got mods then i was recommended unichip [ERRR] apparently there fully mapable so they can make your mods work better together, but filter and a back box and really huge mods but, if you do get it chipped tho remember to get power graphs done on the dyno before and after chipping so you can compare the difference, the people who fit should do this for free anyway if you get it fit by a reputable tuner.
