Suspension springs

Would I be able to just get a set of uprated springs and use them on the standard fiesta shock absorbers? I heard you shouldn't really do this. I'm thinking of just getting some springs now, and then uprated shocks in a few months time.

as long as you dont go too low (more than a 40mm drop) you shouldn't have any problems if your standard kit is in decent condition

Ok cheers mate.
Dont suppose you would know if the mk3 supension is the same as the mk3.5 suspension by any chance? Also to be more specific, a set of lowering springs from a 1.1 mk3, would they fit on 1.6 mk3.5 per chance?
Cheers
