ive got a 1.3 as many of you know and im lookin at gettin my wheels an susp. next.....im gonna have the susp on before ford fair cos i think im gonna get my wheels then.

[ERRR] kit do i go for?the wheels will be mondy 16".dunno if they'll be 6" or 6.5" wide tho.[ERRR] kits have u gone for and why?will get an upper front strut brace just to help things along too.

need to know [ERRR] kits you guys have and why?! :grin:

I have Spax PSX kit. It has -60mm springs and adjustable shocks.
The kit has lasted well and the car handles very well :grin:

i'm only wantin the car lowered 35mm on my 16's....dont sound much i know but i use my car every day an the roads around here aint the best. :???:

Phone a tuning/parts company and say what you want, that way you will have come back if it doesnt do what you asked.

i went for a PI kit simply cos of the price, if u want a -25m or -30mm drop have a look at spax/G-max/PI etc.

Are u fitting it urself? if so why not buy mail-order, i managed to get my full magnex system for £170 mail order last yr, might be able to save a few quid for ur wheels or somthin :wink:

i'll prolly buy mail order then get my mechy to fit it....as he only charges 15quid an hour :smile: an will prolly be buying my wheels at ford fair....altho it might all go on hold as my mum got a letter from insurance company bout renewing the policy, they want 1700 quid!just cos we claimed its fookin doubled! :eek:

nice one, good idea, shouldnt take anylonger than 2hrs for a mechanic to fit the suspension. Dont mention insurance! lol im 22 had a licence less than a yr drive a modded 2i, and live in a high crime rated area = OUCH! :sad: .....going to go and cry 4 a bit now :lol:

Improve your suspension no end and fit a Puma rear beam - awesome handling with little to no roll on std dampers! Check out the 'Parts for Sale' page........
