suspensions RS1800
just a quick question, is the RS1800 suspension setup different to the turbos and XR2i suspension?
my one doesnt have power steering or ABS, but for some reason when searching for a kit some companies list the turbo, or 8v separate to the 16v.
so i just wondered if it would fit or not?
also are there any bargain suspensions that are of a decent quality? i dont fancy my chances with Gmax after some stories ive heard about them

Re: suspensions RS1800
The only difference is that the RST are MK3, and the others (xr rs1800) are a mix of both mk3 and mk3.5
MK3's have slightly smaller diameter shocks on the front compared to the MK3.5
So just see wether your RS1800 is MK3 or 3.5 , if its MK3 then the RS Turbo ones will be fine, or the MK3 XR2i, if its MK3.5 then they will probably be advertised as an Si model.
Better paying more for a better brand than Gmax, although I have had no problems with them myself.

Re: suspensions RS1800
erm i have no idea if its a 3.5 because you can usually tell by the wing mirrors, but mine came with DTM style ones and aftermarket clear side clusters so thats my ideas out the window lol.
but thats a good help to know why it wont fit, im pretty sure mine might be a 3.5 as i have the light warning beep when i open the doors, remote boot release but im not too sure if thats something they introduced anyway????
so gmax are ok? do you use them?

Does it have a flap over the petrol cap, thats the easiest way to tell. If it does its a mk3.5.

Re: suspensions RS1800
