anyone know where i can get me dirty hands on a swirl pot for an xr2 as i belive they are meant to relive built up pressure in the cooling system?????
and are they easy to fit?

do i recall someone sayin they could make ally parts for people ???

i get them made from stainless steel, but i dont know about the fitment on a xr2.
if useing your standard header tank you would have to block off the thermostat return to the header tank and use the one from the swirl pot instead.

Swirl pots do NOT releave any pressure in the cooling system. All they do is get rid of any air bubbles in the water, which prevents air locks.

Post on http://www.fastfords.org.uk for GtechR (might even be on here?) he had one made up for me to fit my XR2 turbo. I believe that this is the same due to the smaller size. Anyways he's had one made up for his so he will know what you need. About £40.
