T2 hybrid turbo advice

Just ordered a spanking new t2 hybrid turbo from turbo technics today and should be with me tomorrow.

being as its a hybrid do i need to uprate anything at all? oil feed pipe, anything at all.......

plus i understand they are made to take 18-20psi, is this safe on the engine?

any help will be appreciated........cheeRS


this topic has probably already been done but i cant be bothered to check.

Oil return pipe mod sounds worthy but T2s dont last as long as T3s from what's happened to people i know so may wanna think about that soon as they cost a fortune.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it.

im gonna stick to the hybrid at the mo, can u explain a bit more bout this uprated oil feed pipe? i understand u get a oil return pipe with the turbo

i've got a T2 hybrid, uprated the system with cosworth pipes and valves. Not had any problems with it, it was a specialist job though, i'll look for a number for you if you want?

its ok thanks mate, just found out that it comes with a booklet that tells u about parts and fittings etc, thanks for advice tho

the return pipe ull get will just be a new one of the one that is already on there....

u should really do this tho.....

I no this is an old post but whats involved in the t2 hybrid.Is it a cross with a t25/t28?
