How much did the hole t3 conversion cost you? where did you get all the parts from for doin it and did you have to move the battery to a different location

Ive been told by a few people that doin this conversion might put to much strain on my engine resulting in it blowing my engine up! have you both had any prob after the conversion? The reason why im thinking of doin this conversion is i think by turbo oil seal is letting through the oil causing the blue smoke when starting up, i found out that it is £750 for a hybrid t25 and £440 for a stage 2 hybrid t3 so it would cost me round the same money to do the conversion as it would just buying the t2 plus it should make my car s**t loads quicker and send it over 200bhp which is a bonus!!!!!

I am getting a T3 conversion done at the end of the month by SCC it costs about £1000 for the whole job including a stage 1 hybrid all new parts except the manifold boosting at 10 - 12 psi or you can get a stage 2 hybrid with beige injectors and a 195 chip boosting at 18psi and thats for £1500 which may sound a lot compared to the other posts but at least you know if you have any probs you can go back with it. Personally i am getting the stage 2 turbo without the injectors and 195 chip and getting a pace intercooler, then i can get the injectors and chip at a later date.

Sound good have you got the number for SCC? I have already got a 195chip and a piper cam and i had it rolling roaded at power engineering and it was 186bhp at 16psi with 196lbs of torque with a shagged actuator, so they said with the t3 conversion it should send it to around the 220bhp mark which i would be lovin.
it sounds a much better idea if a company does it as you said if it goes wrong you can take it back. The prices you have just quoted they are quick cheap if thats including a hybrid turbo.

standard injectors and escort intercooler as i couldnt get a tidy fit when i went to put the bottom boost hose on the frst i/c tried to cut the pipe but it was too much of a potch , other than a cv34 kent cam , 165 chip and a scorpion zorst the car was standard and fully rebuilt

have you had it rolling roaded? do you know the bhp you are kicking out and what psi of boost are you running?
im hoping for 200 to 220bhp with the conversion as i have my fiesta already at 186bhp with a shagged actuator. ive spoke to scc performance and they can supply and fit the conversion with a stage 2 hybrid for £1100. do you think it worth them doing the conversion or doing it my self?
