what involved in having these done and how muche dose it cost

Had my tappits and valve stem seals done on my XR2i for £45 parts and laubour at a local garage :)

im about to replace my tappets and there gunna cocy me £125 just for the tappets. god help me if both my cams are fooked

tappets are very easy to do on a fiesta, its not a lot of work to do at all. :)as long as you have a cvh valve spring compresser. there around £10-15 well worth it.

all depends on how many miles the car has done, if you just change the tappets, the old worn cam will soon mash the new Tappets.

well mine has done 124k so in that case how is a standerd cam then

with that mileage it would be advisable to replace the cam if its original.
