tax problem

Postby PhatJoe on Fri Apr 28, 2006 10:52 pm

ok basically im selling my car on the weekend but have a bit of a problem. The buyer was planning to get one day insurance with admiral on his gf's insurance and send me the money to buy tax. Now the problem is that I can't get tax without insurance, and he can't get a cover note at such short notice....so what the hell do we do??? As it stands he can get insurance on it to drive it away, but as it has no tax this would be on the wrong side of legal!

Any help appreciated
:)

u will need the new type mot as it has another number required to tax it online, i assume u cancelled ur insurance, hence why u cant tax it?
