1) I've got mk4 dials
2) I think you may be able to get a rpm feed from alternator, any time i go through a puddle and mine get wet, it squeeks, and the rpm goes to zero, maybe worth looking into
MotorcyclesFish :The thing is if I caught Brian fudgekin a bloke, I wouldn't think 'oh Brian's a gay', I'd think 'Brian that fudgekin weird haired mongoloid is raping a gay to see if anyone finds it funny'

no, ive got mk4 dials mate, they are the ones im am using.........im just borrowing the addapter made by Fiestaguides.com creator andy untill i get my own done or knuckles wants it back.

i prefer the black ones, a little more factory and i dont really like white dials tbh.

Rich, still waiting to get to the scrappy and get some prices for them as ive got to include driving costs to get to yours :)

oh, and that maybe an idea....ill have a little look, see if i can research anything about that way of doing things :)

all that cash off because i got the body type changed!! madness

anywho, first things first. There is something wrong with the front drivers suspension....everytime i go over a speed bump it goes 'clonk' other side doesnt and this is not with any sort of speed, so somethings up there

and ive got a squeeky wheel, bearing?

oh and i cant find a place to get it tracked, looks like im going to have to get out the yellow pages

Postby dave_p on Tue Jul 11, 2006 9:13 am

glad to hear its on the road, i have the same problem with my suspension going over speed bumps and also when im braking/stopping at lights and when i set off from lights

all it is is the top nut on the suspension needs tightening a bit more could even be the one that sits just above the spring.

i would fix mine but can't because i have snapped the metal where the allen key sits in

hope it helps

Yeah it made quite a noise when it was being used. Chugged along normally like any other diesel, but foot-down driving turned it into something else, used to love that induction roar! Plus on lift-off (e.g. gear changes) it used to make a gentle whooshing hiss like my current recirculating dump valve, was huge fun! :D

why dont you just take the mechanical part of the rev counter from the mk3 clocks and transfer it into the mk4 cluster, seems the easiest thing to do :-?
