right, the slightest of updates, i have puchased and aquired a new tailgate and rear bumper.........
it is a totally smooth tailgate, even the spoiler is smoothed in. The bumper is a Zetec-s one, again totally smooth, including the towing cover. It needs fixing on better, the sides need the pieces cut into the car and then it should fit very nicely :insanity:
and how fooking low is this......
going to be lower aswell as the car is resting on the tyres
going to need to raise it i think, especially if it drops more at the back, will look lop-sided
better pics when its out over the next weekend
comments??

spoiler not fully smoothed in, don't look right when just the sides and top are smoothed in, who ever did it missed the bits were the holes for the rivets are, but other than that looking good
phase 2 zetec s, slammed, smoothed, euro'd, ronal turbo's, coilovers, stretched tyres

*Update*
right, been having a little touble here and there with money but ive finally got a little closer to getting it on the road.........
a couple of things updated mainly the 195/40's wrapping the Black 16" RS7's
ive slapped on my smooth bonnet, it is going to be repaired and sprayed up, also got an si bumper in the car to get sprayed up.................and the hole in the door will be smoothed...
ive managed to raise only the rear suspension so far, but it deffinatly makes it sit better, rest should be one on Monday fingers crossed.
Smoothness.....
and this is the interior at the minute, im converting it to a passenger carrier (i dont care if they have nothing to look out of in the rear ) ill be using the recaros from the petrol when i get it on the road.
and this is the comparison of the springs that were on the car (bottom) and the new -60mm ones (top)
.........the springs must have been cut and lord knows how low it was but the springs were too short for the dampners
Comments as per usual please guys.............oh and i am unsure wether to smooth the lights on the new si bumper or not......just to carry on the smoothness??? ideas??
cheers

the_hammerite_avenger :What paint have you used? Did you just sand them down, prime, then paint ?
primer and gloss paint from halfords!
could do with being done again, may do it another time, but the paint sticks real well,
Sleeky,
you have no idea how much i want to do that, but i cant find any way of tinting the front lights without fooking them up or making them look half decent
Cheers mike, thanks for the comments guys

Why didn't you just buy some steelies instead of doing them black, they look 100x better in silver, what is is it with black wheels at the moment
I do like the van overall tho

I agree they do look better in silver, but they were in such poor condition that i wanted to spray them up, and they wouldnt have come out well with a silver spray, so i went black.
dont worry though, once i have the cash together i will be getting them done properly
cheers for comments
and Joe, NO! not yet anyways
they do come in 16's but not often can be hard to get hold of

not really euro as the rims arent particulally wide enough.
cheers adam, great help as usual i dont think there are that many colours, not as bad as the other one which is half white
oh and you just dont like the rims, which is madness
I do reallly want to keep the bumper, but its got to have some serious work done to get it right, there is a crack in it, more of a tear. The bottom has been fibreglassed, think to put on another splitter but its just mess............and ive got holes where it is attached by cable ties
so unsure, love the smooth look it has though
