the engine runs and it is very nippy when boosting. But it just wont run right and its smoking everywhere.

No Pro shop will even atempt to see it as they all cant be bothered, I might give it one last chance with a Diesel specialist as I have just found out that I've got a bit extra cash then i thought i did.

but I'm not holoding my breath, going to give them a ring on Monday. I am just fed up of trying to get it on the road, the area I am staying at isnt exactly the best place to leave the car. So there is no real point in having it as a runaround car. So what is the real advantage of having a TD other then it being different???

Different yes, and i bet if you can tune it up a bit to run around 125bhp and 170lb/ft it should drive ok! Im still impressed with the performance of my 306 and that weighs a ton and should only be 90bhp and 150lb/ft at the moment!

Right, after 2 years of ownership and 11 months off the road I have finally given up!!!

I am fed up of putting money and everything into this car and getting nothing out. The result would have been interesting but the main reason for it being done has now nearly passed! That being that i was 19 and being shafted for insurance on larger engine cars. I will now be 21 in February, with 4 YNCB!!

I have also sort of grown out of the look on my car with the rear tailgate and what not. I am also fed up of owning red cars!!

sooooo......Everything is up for sale apart from a few things. It will all be saved up for the next car!!

You thought about the french Rs ? - very cheap and with little TLC would be a right head turner like mine

Still in the Cougar, great car but not a fez! Problem is, the mk3 is getting quite rare and if I dont sort it out soon I will be looking at a classic restoration instead of modding it!
