hi, my temp gauge is not working, dosent even move off the bottom.

looking in the haynes manual it says to first check the temp gauge fuse, in the fuse section of the book it dosent mention temp gauge fuse in the list. Anyone know if there is one? and where?

try changing the sender on the engine... it will be under the thermostat housing on the left of the engine where the rad top hose is... wire may have come off/corroded or sender is knackard...

Thats great, thank for that, im prob gonna just go and change the 2 sensors (sender and fan switch) and the thermostat while im at it, because i don't think the fan comes on either, i know the fan works because i tested it. any idea how much this parts will cost at a ford dealer?

probably about £25-30 all in...

for the age of the car, just go to your local auto factors, will probably be around the same sort of cost for the 3 parts

Euro car parts

rad fan switch - 223590021
thermostat - 209590201
gauge sender - cant find online but must have them... if not i think i got a couple laying around
