The best chip for my RS1800

Postby RS1800pec on Mon Mar 20, 2006 10:41 am

Hiya all. Ive been looking to get a chip for my RS1800 for a while now, but I just don’t no s**t about them!

What’s the best-suited chip for a RS1800?

Do I need to get it set up after fitting the chip or do I just plug in and go?

Is it best i get a chip and get it set up from the company?

(Please note..Im asking for advice on a chip NOT opinions whether you think I should buy one! :D )

Any advice and info is most apreciated :)

well dont go for a off the shelf chip, you want to take it somewhere that will do it custom for your mods and choice of petrol to map it on

being normal 95 ron
super unleaded 97
optimax
or tesco's 99 ron if your lucky enough to have a station near u selling it

Well since owning it i dont think ive put anything in it but optimax!

My mates going to have a word with his mate at P.T.S and see what they can do and get some prices of them!

Hopefully i can get a chip through them, get them to fit it and set the car up for me :)

Oh i have soooo much to do before Fiesta in the park
