Demon Tweeks sell a 34/36DATR twin choke for a few pence shy of £300. Should sort you out nicely and goes straight on most CVH manifolds.

Tell 'em a big fat half-Welsh sheep shagger sent you

ok, weber twin choke it shall be.

£300 nicker sounds a bit much for [ERRR] i want at the mo.

Im aiming to get one off another motor, which ford has the best carb?

And how do i go about re-jetting it? to make it better? :bonkers:

Before you deicde against the £300 jobbie (although I'm with you on the price), compare the size of the chokes to the largets you'll find anywhere else - they're almost twice the diameter - more air allows more fuel allows more speed.

Innit

Boys, the best carb`s have to be the Weber twin 40`s for the cvh, u can pick them up for under £200, rebuild kits are £12 per carb and u can get a new linkage for under £50,Manifolds are £80-100 new, get it rolling roaded and you`re well away

Or you could go for the DCNF`s which are plentyful aswell..

Rebuild them. The manifold and linkage etc, u can get everything from http://www.burtonpwer.com.

Linkage around £50+vat
Service kits £13.94+vat
Manifold £68.54+vat
You`ll need a sandwich plate set aswell and filter to fit, Burtons will sort u out..

Why dont you go for a nice pair of twin 40's!!! would be almost as good as putting a funnel into the side of the engine and pour the petrol into it!!! but they look and sound the bizz!

And an electric fuel pump, get a cut off switch from a late ford at a scrappy, and you`ll need a gauge to see how much pressure you`ve got, i think u need 4-5 psi..
