The best handling
Ok can some kind soul list the things I can do to get the best handling out of my car, Fiesta S, it already has front ARB's.
Things like wheel size/tire size etc... And what is the best amount to lower the car by, strut braces (been told they can make the car understear even more...)
Tx just wanna clear this up... tried searching for ages, and havent got all the answers..
Cheers

Well I've got 195/45/15's
H&R Coilovers, which i dropped abit more yesterday (& what an improvement) even the g/f noticed. The car doesn't move, on rails.
Gonna get poly bushes & front & rear strut brace.
Then it will handle the bolloxs

sure you're not thinking of ARBs? too stiff an arb up front can do that...
Stuff on my "to-do" list :
- What Fiesta-si said
- Get some decent tyres, Goodyear Eagle F1s or something
- Lower about 25-40mm, cheap fixed kits won't make it handle much better they'll just be lower and too stiff for most uk roads (would be great on a track) H&R sound very nice lots of good reports on this forum but £700ish (?)
- 15" Lightweight alloys, Oz Superleggeras maybe (if you can find them), just enough to get some big brakes under, larger = heavier = bad
- Zetec-S rear beam, very stiff
- Fiesta Frenzy's adjustable front arms
- Eccentric top mounts (if you can get these for fez's?)
- Pukka set up - corner weighting, camber, castor, toe...
- Seam weld chassis
- full on roll cage
- buy an elise
One of those may not involve driving a fiesta...
