The changing faces of my car... Now being BROKEN :( x
Well... my car has had more looks to it than anyone elses i know
Here are a few...
Got it about a year ago and it looked like:
As for mods it had a T3 on it, a gastly 4" exhaust and that was it...
As soon as i got it me and mish took it to get some PROPPER back lights as it had lexus ones on it and we went and got a touch up pen, just to make it look that bit better and stuck some spare wheels i had on... then it looked like this...
Then FITP 06 was coming around and anyone who knows me knows i dont like to blend in... so at 10pm the night before me and my boyfriend (Lee) were up putting tiger stripes on my car
Left them on for a bit, went to a rolling road so see what power she had but it was a bit touch and go cos it kept hitting the boost cut... so Lee turned the boost down... or so we thought...
Gary W is obviously the name my car has picked when the boost i turned UP no down
Anyways... got a bit bored of the stripes then, cos i'm a girl, i get bored easily so took them off and got some Kumho's so the wheels i got with the car went back on...
Then, as USC was approaching, i wasnt up for going to USC with my 1.6 so went and picked up a 1.8 zvh off Nomad... Which was a horrible experience to say the least... i left the directions at home and i had no phone, so got lost and done for speeding all in one night... got home at 4am, after setting off at 3:30 the day before
Anywho, this was the friday before USC so there was a bit of a mad rush to get my engine in... but by wednesday it was in and running with a Ahmed chip, beige and a new cossie fuel pump and i was happy with it...
Set off to USC Fri morning and it was pulling like a train out off the toll road, couldnt wait to get on the strip But when it came to it... i staged the car... set off... NO BOOST?! Was not happy!! Messed around with everything we could think of then one of my mates took it out, came back and said one problem i had was my fuel pump wiring was on its way out... so it parked up for the rest of the weekend and looked sorry for itsself... awwww... then on the way back me and mish sat at keele services for 3 hours for the RAC man cos my wiring decided enough was really enough
Didnt do much to it then but then October came around and it was late night racing at the pod... My car WAS going and it WAS going to run...
It did and it did a 14.4 @ 98.27 and made it all the way home!!! YAY!!
Anyways... much to everyones delight on here i decided to re shell it cos it was working out cheaper to do that than get the FRST body sorted out... so one night me and Lee set off to Cardiff to pick up an old lady's XR2i as it came up at the right money...
Went to the DVLA and did my plate transfers etc as i wanted to keep PIB and what a fortune that costs BTW ...
Then off me and Lee trotted to Tunisia and left the car with a mate who re shelled the whole thing... New shell, new exhaust pipe and a new set of wheels which i picked up from ebay cheap and re-furbed them... and now it looks like...
To say i am happy with it is an understatement...
Spec is:
1800 Zetec bottom end
FRST head
Piper T285 cam
Bosch Beige
Walbro fuel pump
Standard T3 turbo
Ahmed Bayjoo chip
Pace Intercooler
Lowered by approx 35mm on G-Max springs
Scorpion exhaust with Tube Torque tail pipe
Flamer kit
15" (we think...) TVR wheels but not sure...
Oh and a home made boost gauge...
Went to Centrals day this year and car pulled a 14.0 @ 100mph... thats was a good day cos i have beaten my personal best without changing the spec!!
Its getting ready for USC at the moment so engine is for sale and there will be a new engine in there very soon... one that involves biger engine, bigger turbo, bigger power...
Should be in next months Fast Ford on the rolling road...
Thanks for looking and sorry for the length of post... maybe i should have done one of these ages ago and just kept adding updates rather than all in one go
Any opinions welcome!!

Superb! Looks lovely, glad to see you here on FT. I was genuinely worried about you after you left my workshop that night, if I remember correctly I even made you promise to text me when you were home safe!
Glad the bottom end worked out and the car is all nicely shelled now
Loving the boost gauge too, very girly!!

knuckles :All looks good apart from the misplaced rs turbo decals above the side repeaters.
Looked better with the green strips and rs2000 alloys too
Yeah but i have re-shelled it now so the stripes are blue underneath... the RS2000 wheels were scratty and therefore sold now...
Oh and i'm not much of a green person its not my colour

I still, deep-down, think, that not letting me drop kick those lexus lights into the neighbours garden was a bad point in my life
And sitting at Keele Services for 3 hours, after the longest weekend of my life...and then a journey home in a truck, limited to about 55mph on the motorway was a moment spent with you I will never forget!!
Apart from that, I love your car, much more than I ever loved my own. Pics don't do the new look justice tbh and it really is a little minter now x

Haha it's here if you need to borrow it, but I was just more hinting at the fact the shiny factor just doesn't cut it in those piccies
I may attempt to clean mine sometime before I stop driving it so we'll have to go to a secluded spot and get some... oooh errr!!

I didn't realise it'd been re-shelled Shell That drive back must've been hell, with penalty points as well Were the wheels hard to sell? Think the wheels are 15" but I can't tell I thought that number plate rang a bell!

Which wheels too... the mondeo ones or the escort ones...
The escort ones are 15's, the ones on now are 15's but the mondeo's are 16's
