why didnt you build the engine while it was in the shop?
I had to pay for the shell restoration first and that was NOT cheap!!

Me and my mates are up from Dundee in Aberdeen and Greg's just taken me to see this beast in the flesh. Can't believe the quality of the work that's been done. I've never seen ANY mk3 Fiesta look so good before.
Looks like it's just rolled out of the show room at a Ford Dealership.
Few bits an peices to be done before the engine goes in but when it does it will be awesome.
Was a pleasure to meet ya Greg and I'll hold you to you coming down to mine with the RS once it's been finished. Although when that happens you'll have grey hair, or none at all!

Well after restoring the shell i took a wee break and went to Florida on holiday
Anyway, i havent forgotten about my car, just before i came offshore i sent the block to be machined. So hopefully when i get back home it should be bored and skimmed if needed. I will post up pics when i can.

Yet another gallery thread I've never seen, only just been pointed in the direction this one and i'm sooo jealous. Top work mate.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Well ..... im not leaving the country after all, so the FRST restoration will continue ...... game on!!
So the shell is finished.............
Mint engine bay.....
I really like it with the petrol flap.....
It really is like a brand new shell from the Ford Valencia factory, except with a better paint job
So the engine block is now machined with a nice set of JE pistons.
The saga has re-start and will continue...............
