wow, never knew there was someone else in aberdeen dafter than me when it comes to fiestas, mine is in the bodyshop just now gettin all the rot cut out, havent gone as far as you but it will be gettin a full respray,

Well after all the latest EXPENSIVE purchases i need to let me wallet recover but i suppose i do have most of the big bits bought now, just suspension, brakes and cooler left to buy ...... oh and pay for bottom end build and balancing ........ so still a few things to do yet

Thought i would get the shell looking a wee bit better as it has been sat in this garage for some time

Well after being distracted in 2009 : got engaged, new Focus RS. Im now back on getting the Fiesta finished.

After Kev (http://www.powartek.com) made me buy lots of expensive parts, they are now down at Agra in Dundee being balanced and assembled ..... yes you heard right! I have finally got the engine parts down for assembly.

Should come back like this ..... Std crank, PEC H-section rods with ARP bolts, JE Racing pistons all balanced with a Helix 4 paddle clutch. Fitted with an uprated oil pump and brand new Ford water pump. Then mated to an "ultimate" cylinder head from Cylinder Head developments.

Thanks for the nice comment, but there are some stunning examples still alive. The whole floor area was checked for tin worm. Only the footwells and boot area needed attention. The shell is 100% rot free

As for cost, well i have been updating the garage section to scare people but its not finished yet, so the costs continue.......

A wee update:

The engine is built and balanced. So, its roll on September (when im home) so i can get it mated to the stage2 box and get them dropped in the shell

its a nigthmare on these, i has a cam cover the same, well mine has a ford badge on it, but same shape, i gave up with rubber seal and didnt bother using one in the end, everytime i took the came cover off it flopped all over the place, and being a used one, i couldnt glue it on as it had gone soft with oil contamination

Thats a brand new rubber seal. Anyway the metal cam cover looks better than my original, its fooked!
