Not much if a update, but got round to doing the headlights today.
Didn't have any fine wet and dry at home, so had to use some P600, followed by G3 course compound then 3M fine compound, done with the polishing machine.
Finally finished off with a hand polish with super resin polish.
Will get a waxing also
Next up is gunna be clutch and flywheel, it got so bad I stopped driving it at the end if feb and sorned it, so will be getting the clutch and flywheel as well as some other bits at the end if April.
In the mean time, I might** refurb the wheels, but I hate cleaning multi spokes, painting them is gunna be fun lol so might just leave them and work towards a after market set of wheels that I like

Well there is no question about it, this 170 is deffo a female! Wants every penny you have plus more and still don't put out!
Over the last few days I have done or replaced the following.
Dropped gear box again, this was due to a gearbox oil leak, turned out the spring in the oil seal in the slave cylinder that seals the input shaft was one to a couple of MM too big and not sealing fully, I had the old spring so used that in the newer slave, yes ineouldnof liked to of replaced the complete seal or even the unit but funds did not allow for this, as it is this month this car has ripped me of over £500.
Anyhow that was done all parts cleaned up and refitted again.
Replaced steering rack, and track rod ends.
Fitted powerflex bushes to front lover arms
Two new ball joints to front lower arms
Two front drop links
Now outer cv gator as the ford one just would not stay on no matter what I used
On the rear
Two new lower arms with new cam bolts
Two new upper arms
Two new trailing arms
Two new ARB drop links
Replaced a broken rear spring that I found when doing lower arms on the back.
4 new tyres and I'm sat here right now waiting for the full 4 wheel tracking to be done.
Some of the above stuff like lower arms etc were done because the rear tyres were scrubbing out on the insides, the upper arms were fine but I changed what I could just for the sake of it tbh, and fcuk me did it fight me.
First bolt on drivers side lower arm needed cutting off as it was rusted in the bush, then I found broken spring.
I managed to break a Halfords professional 15mm deep socket on one trailing arm bolt, so that was cut out, and the other trailing arm needed grinding off too.
On a plus I walked into Halfords and said I wanna swap this broken one for this new one, expecting them to ask for a recipe or something and no, swapped t and walked out, so thumbs up to Halfords for that.
Re the front, steering rack had a knock, but no play, I did try new tie rods and track rod ends to start with but no luck so had to bite the bullet and get a new rack, at £188 inc vat I didn't think it was that bad, as t was the cheapest I could get one.
I did try ford to see if they don't any parts that I could buy to repair my own rack, but no, he did say they sell racks at ........ £928+vat!!! and that's if they can get one! Cheers but no!
Front wishbones, again I got new ball joints as I had a knock on the front, which turned out was the drop link, but as I had them anyway and planned this work in ages ago I got a set of poly bushes and done the front arms up.
Anyway yeah, waiting for tracking to be done front and rear, and hopefully will drive good, was nice and smooth on the way here, shame the wife will start driving it again when I get home and that's pretty much how it's gunna be, the wife driving it hence why it still has the stupid rear lights in it
Note for anyone wanting one of these, don't bother, they expensive to maintain, and not all that, but like a super model that don't suck c0ck, got something but it's not the full package, so my 270 is a super model
