Well, it is still a fiesta! Am I still allowed to be with FT at FITP?

Its a 1.25 Zetec LX - some added extras - missing fogs, spoiler, and boot pop. A lot faster than the 1.1 HCS lump!!

Looked like this on the forecourt:

Then I collected it:

More pics to come soon, as I start modding it a little.

Got no problems with five doors, still look just as good, :D
Get the shocks dropped
nice alloys
clear indicaters
and it will look 100% better
not bad for your second car :)

Cheers fella. I don't get this 3 door is better than 5 door crap - they are the same except one has two more doors!!

Alloys are on the list, I should be de-tangoing the headlights very soon, and also doing the clear side repeaters when I get paid ! :D

Also plan at some point fitting the Ghia / Zetec spoiler, and hopefully in the distant future, the Zetec S kit.

The only thing chive about it is the Lexus lights (admittedly) :D

3 door cars are looked apon as more sporty, and stronger.

im not a fan of 4 door fiestas, but my run around is 4 door and its bloody handy
wouldnt want a 4 door rs though.

anyway mate, with some mods it will look better, dont max power it FFS

why the green though?
why not the blue one next to it, or even a different colour 4 door? or do you like the green?
or was it due to that one was nice, cheap, drove well etc etc

I'm always carrying passengers so 4 door was needed really - especially as adults and grandparents can't really climb into the back of 3 door fiesta's too easily!!

I absolutely love the green - comes up really nice after a wash and polish. There were other fiestas there but some were missing the electric windows, some were high mileage, some needed major work, and this one had all the features I need at the right price with a nice below average mileage, basically.

Don't worry on the max power front - see my threads on the old fiesta, I don't do max flower! Prefer standard ford bodykits all the way! The only lights that belong on any car are the ones made for it, and lexus lights should stay on lexus' (or in skips/landfills)!!

Love how the pics of your new car are in a Graveyard car park!!!

Whos cars are those in the background, Nick? Did they go Darrick? There's a Halfords the other end of that carriageway and I have no doubt that those guys popped in there and bought some more Ripspeed crap...

Good luck with your new Fez, you made sure there's no rot on this one? I heard mk5s go on the sills aswell, check underneath your weatherseal around the bottom of the door shuts.

Shame about all those extra doors isn't it?... :bonkers:

Yes, the graveyard (sorry, Cemetary, according to the sign) was the only real place I could find which was empty - although there is the obsolete MOT garage just past Knockholt train station. I always used to use the multi-storey car park for photos, but it's kind of impossible now it's been reduced to a pile of rubble. Other than that its Goddington, but there the bloke with the red MK3 fiesta sits and watches your every move... Up until 6 then they lock it!!

Dave Hammond owns the Punto - you may know him, he did go to Darrick up until 6th form, then he went off to college. The punto is better than it was - he took off the Viper stripes a few weeks back. The Corsa you won't know.

No, there's no rot on this one at all, very clean... I checked all of that after the last fiasco! Just a couple of things I have to investigate about the Air Con, but I don't use it much anyway. As soon as I get paid (eventually) I'll be getting the ford CD player, iPod aux interface and high-to-low level signal conveters for the amps, and my alarm done.

Yes, yes. 5 door, I know. :P

Yeah I know Hammond. He went West Kent, doing the same course as me I think but he was in the other class. Does he work in Sainsbury's in Otford? Tell him to clean up his act

Shame about the miltistorey. Had some good 3-wheel action in there (not on a tricycle) but at least we'll have another 24 hour Tesco for the people of the Cray to work in. I might just move out of Orpington.

Oh btw, get some neons to go under your wingmirrors. Hammond will be well impressed :Q

Clean up his act? If it's too rude PM me! lol

Yeah, he went West Kent, just left, and he does work in Sainsburys.

24 hour tesco will be stupid. The traffic round the war memorial will be completely fcukin ridiculous.

Oh yes, the ol' neons under wingmirrors trick :D Might have to try that, as a laugh!
