Hi mate, can you post the number for the Keycode decals, cheers.

The yellow oval decals are the later design which were used on Mondeo forwards - Do you know if they have the original Mk3/3.5 type which were wite and circular in design? I assume the yellow oval decals have repalced these...

Cheers

How much was the credit card key, and does it contain the chip for the PATS system? I'm guessing not, fantastic idea that though, never even knew they existed

The card key was £7.90 for a non pats key
the pats key is availible still and is around £18 from fords.

Old box out

I gave it a lick of gloss black spray the night before and fitted new drive shaft oil seals along with a new selector shaft seal.

Image

The Rs accessory rear lights were put back on today ... i have missed these so much :D

Image

Image

Gearbox feels really nice and paddle clutch handles the power nicely and i still have a nice soft pedal as i used the standard ford clutch cover.
Just need a chip on it now so i can up the boost up from 10psi.... :)

Im finding it the same to drive with everyday as the normal clutch tbh
I sometimes get a judder from the flywheel in 1st gear , but if i pull away quick enough it does'nt make the noise.

im thinking of buying a clutch quadrant and keeping it in the glove box along with tools to do it
ive had so many ppl say to me they snap easy.

another new purchase :D

i was pricing up replacing the front rs turbo fog lamps , driving lamps ,the surrounds , screws, fixings etc ...

The hella lamps are £69 each from ford
The surrounds are £21 each
special long screws £1.29 each

Unfortunatly one of the surrounds are no longer availible from ford. So that left only one option ...
buying it complete. :aaah:

Image

when these arrived i couldnt stop looking at them ... :D
They didnt even come with bulbs !
4 bulbs @ £6.90 per bulb !!   :(

Image

this hopefully answers the question on which way round do the fog lamps go ....
the fogs have the lines and go on the outter. The driving lamps have a metal shield on the inside of the lamp and go on the inner.

very exspensive i must say :oooh:

I didn't realise you can still buy those lights from Ford, :aviator:

I have 2x complete b/n drivers side sets and a pair of lights for the passenger side, I'm missing the surround for them.

I can't understand though fella why you spend so much money on genuine bits for a daily driver, those lights will soon get stone chippped and dirty.

I'm frightened even to take mine out of the boxes
