clark will upload some more pics im sure.

the inner arch isnt as bad as the drivers one, and although round the filler cap area on the inner wing looks bad, its solid! metals thin in places but tis not rotted through, it could be saved, but whats the point, ill chop it and replace it, and i got some thicker gauge metal i plan to use, just got to find the face place for the lathe so i can trapan the hole out :)

thats his brother   flicking the bird to clark too :bonkers:

its betetr than the other side, but still rusty where i expected it to be, the jacking support will have the bottom cut off it all the way along and theres a bit on the inner wing that needs looking at to see if it needs cutting out or if it will clean up.

will be starting on the inner arch lip tomorrow

ive seen alot worse jony.
That inner wing is still intact. ive seen some where you cant even make out the hole the fuel neck goes through. The rear quarter only had 3 little scabs until jay started poking it.

I gave it to jay as id rather he take his time with it than some jobs worth at a bodyshop who couldnt give 2 hoots :)

(jay wrote this then changed it to being clarks post)

i (jay) was out there again today, rough trimmed the inner wing panel, cut out the filler area and remade another one to fit in out of 1mm thick mild steel.
welded in, and primed, primer is just on to protect the bare metal for now (inside and out) and as you can see its been left long to allow trimming to fit the inner wing panel.
i know you can still see the welds as i didnt grind it right back, but theres not much point really.
anyway, pics
