The time has come....

Postby trecoll on Thu Oct 01, 2009 1:05 pm

Ok, so some of you will be quite pleased with this thread

Its time to lower my car, I have decided to only go 40mm.

Whats the best suspension kit to get, and where to get it from?? (mk4)

I use the car daily, and roads round here aren't, well... there sh!t!! So I don't want to end up breaking my back whilst driving to work!!

Budget is variable, provided you can explain why one make will be better than other (slightly cheaper) make! (if that makes sense!)

Anyways, Fire away!

If eibach do springs for yours, then buy them. They make by far the best lowering springs ive ever used. If they dont then Koni are pretty good.Wouldnt necceserily bother with uprated dampers too, unless your planning on going on track or something. A new set of standard dampers and some decent springs will still provide some comfort, while lowering the car, and improving handling.

Oh, and its about time you lowered it :P

To be honest, I probably will have this out on track at some point, so will probs do the shockers too ;)

Can't find any eibach's, koni's with shockers are, well the price scared me!!

Surely theres something out there around £300 (max, realistically) that isn't spax or g-max (ideally :P )
