when i done mine (back in 97 though) i got the book and just kept reading it and getting my parents, friends, workmate etc to just ask me random questions from the book over and over.
the book was a bit thinner back then, and the test was on paper  but just revise it over and over mate and get people to pick random questions to ask you

Mine took two weeks to arrive. Came on my 17th birthday. I finally got round to passing my test when I was 28!

have you done the test yet?

i found it best to get the pc cd and revise, do mock tests, and then most have a test on there, do the test over and over untill you manage to pass it 3 times in a row, then you know your ready

mind i still failed first time, but passed second, aceing the question part both times, i just couldn't get on with the video clicks :P

sorry i didnt update , yeah i passed it :D 50/50 on the question part :P cant remember on the hazzard preception part but was quite a high mark , so all the revising paid off i got all the way down to the test centre 15 mins early and didnt have my paper counterpart so i had to get home find it and get back for 1 oclock the drive is normally 20mins so i was well lucky , after i passed it got home and had a leson at 3 oclock and ive had 6 now i think . ive learnt everything now and am starting to do mock tests my driving test is 1st december at 8:30 am  now thats what i have to worry about my instructor has told me if i dont pass a mock test and then fail another one ill have to re book the test which will take another 6 weeks so im trying my hardest to listen to what im told and drive carefull , the multiple choice question part of the theory was really easy imo , and so was the hazzard preception the only bad thing was the videos were old so were really blurry but apart from that it all went good

so many of them videos are filmed around my area, i recognised most of them lol, yours should be the same as the DVLA is swansea based

your best off doing the pass plus once you pass your practical, lowers the insurance alot
