been looking for a guide or info on converting my 1300 hcs festa to a cvh or zetec powered motor


just wondering what i'll need seen asthough i only have the 1300hcs

different fuel lines pump? cvh/zetec

engine mounts? cvh/zetec

any info greatly apreicated

Firstly you need to decide on your budget and what engine you would prefer, Turbo or N/A?

But as a rough guide you will need to change the
mounts
fuel lines
fuel pump (and probably tank)
engine loom
ecu
exhaust

Then you would also need to think about upgrading the brakes/suspension if you are going to make more power. There is a lot of work needed but if you/your mates can do most of the work yourself you could probably do it reasonably cheap.

tbh i was just thinking n/a

and i was hoping i wouldnt have to change the tank

i was just looking for the easiest , cheapest engine conversion tbh

didnt realy matter that much to the power figures aslong as i was stuck with the piddly hcs

apart from engine loom ecu and mounts, what else am i gune need/change?

If its just going to be N/A you could proberly get away with XR2i and Rs1800 Fuel pump, Fuel lines, Fuel Tank, Fuel filter etc
Bigger Brakes, Xr2i or RS1800 Suspension, think you can use Si engine mounts, gearbox.
You will also need to modify the engine so it all fits and runs. e.g Throttle body, water pump etc..
