and im sorry lol... but i cant be bothered to dig throught loads of posts...

Basicaly i just want to know can i use a GRS front mount IC and FRST standard or OEM replacement radiator on a 200-250max bhp ZT?
(it will be a T3 on erst manifold, but the T3 conversion for FRST seems to use the original I/C so im sure hosing shouldent be a problem)

Also, can I use either the Zetec radiator bottom hose to FRST radiator, or do I need to use the CVH bottom hose.
(im unsure if the necks of the pumps are in the same place, same diameter etc, the top hose wont be a brainer im sure..)

thats it guys can anyone help with these.. Im still collecting info, gone off chargecooling as an idea now always best to stick to tried and tested, but i want to do ALL my research before i build that bottom end lol... I see the low comp block and mapping as the worst or most daunting of the whole ZT conversion in my circumstance..

im using a fmic like the evo3 and a zetec rad ,think its a xr2i 16v one.
they fit nice but i was told i need to cut the end off the zetec water pump and weld the end of a cvh one on.
but i was thinking ill try a zetec hose to see if it fits first!.
it make sence though if your using a zetec water pump and a zetec rad!init :-?

yeah ide say so mate... cant see how it wouldent unless the manifold and turbo are in the way, im sure there not that low down.. also if i had to do such a mod on the pump.. ide do it all hose side, its not like you NEED to have another neck welded onto it.. it just doesent seem logical when the hoses are alot easier to play with..

so i guess you building it all at the moment then.

i guess your using like a universal FMIC like http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Large-Intercooler ... dZViewItem this maybe?

i can only assume you would had to have cut the front panel to get the hoses in.. and also the bumper??

ide idealy like to not cut the bumper... towns to full of cocks someone would soon put the boot into it.

mine uses the standard intercooler and radiator with a 2.0 Zetec Top Hose cut in half and connected with metal tubing, I also have a front mount to use, so once thats on the XR2i rad will be used

SiZT.. so how have you connected up the bottom hose out of intrest?

also what sorta power are you running on the standard IC at the moment..

when you say you will use the xr2i rad when you use a FMIC, do you mean the 16v or 8v one?

I'm using the pro alloy frst rad and I got the bottom hose from Roose motorsport which is the same as frst but has a larger diameter at the water pump. Fit's like a glove and no need for cutting and messing about!!

Paul at Roose is a top bloke, just give him a call and tell him what you want and he'll sort you out.
