Throttle body spacers

Postby paniK on Thu Mar 20, 2008 7:50 pm

AS above guys,

Basically I'm wondering whether these are any good and if its worth getting one.

From what I understand, it sits between (in my case) the intake manifold and throttle body and what it does is it increases chamber volume and aids air flow and also creates a spiral effect to the incoming air. This apparently has worked well on some setups gaining as much as 18bhp I read somewhere and improves low and mid range.

Is this true?

Furthermore, would I benefit from using it on a simple throtte body/inlet manifold standard setup?

Thanks

Dunno, but asking in one of the technical forums might get you an answer :)
