Tinting rear lights

How hard is it 2 tint the rear lights on my si? im thinking of spraying them black!

you have to take the light off put on paper then spray but dont do it to dark the best stuff is foliteck they also do a remover to take it off if you need to. halfords sell it, if you use spray paint if you have to take it off you have to use sand paper. :smile:

screw that take the light out and get your girlfriends finest pair of black tights and stretch them over the light, good finish on the fiesta looks good you can vary the darkness too. sounds sad but great idea. good for mot time too.

Yeah the tights work great.

But spraying is also easy

Are you sure its black black???
Lets weigh up the pro's and con's

Pro's
Tights, can be fitted in a few minutes look great, and are easy. Also removable immediately should the police, get all complacent.

Spraying: good effect, you can match it to your cars colour.


Cons: Used ones sometimes smell of fish.

Cons: take ages, youve got to be handy with a spray guns,/ tin. Cost alot more.

Il think ill go 4 da tints, dunno tights look wicked but bit cheap! also i should b able 2 do it myself! I spray cars 4 my job! :wink:
