To dump.............or not to dump !!

Right, I have a frst on 83k with increased boost via bleed valve. It also has a superchip, mongoose exhaust, k & N, dump valve and I want to change the sound. I like the fa fa fa sound you get when having a turboed car without a dumpvalve and I am considering taking it off and putting a blanking plate in instead. Is this wise considering I have increased boost ??
I think the boost is around 0.9 to 1 bar!!

Also if I do remove the dump valve do I need to plug the small outlet on the inlet housing ???

Cheers all !!

Nooooooooooooo I have a dump valve at the mo, (baileys dont ya know  ). I wanna change the sound tho as everyone has dump valves !!

I am just wondering if it will damage the turbine blades due to the increased boost ??

If you are running 1bar (like me) i would recommend you DO use a D/V. There is a lot of back pressure going back through the turbo, better to get rid of it than have the fluttering sound.

Use a twin piston type d/v this way you will keep any nasties out of your engine........i recommend a Collins twin piston d/v :)

cheers :)
