Recently, i have been hearing of rumours, remarks and comments about how much i post on here.

To be honest i don't feel its excessive as it used to be alot worse than it is now, which i feel has cut down to an acceptable level, i understand there will be who agree with that and people who don't which i can accept.

Just to point out there are people who post just as much as me if not more, so why is it always me who seems to get moaned to/about?

Am i not allowed to ask questions and voice my opinions about things?

Also i keep getting told to get MSN, do i not have a choice whether to have it or not?

Personally i don't like using it but i have said i am willing to start using again but at the moment my situation doesn't allow me to.

So how about be a man and speak to me about it and get the problem resolved, rather than talking behind people backs like little girls?

I don't want this thread to turn into a big bitching match, i just want to know what peoples problems are and for them to understand my side of the situation?

To be honest mate, I can't say that you've been posting a lot recently, certainly not as much as you used to. (Lets say the post count is going up by 1's rather than 100's when I look at it j/k) MSN is a really good tool for keeping in contact with people and your lack of MSN is probably why you post/used to post more than other people, but then there are many more members who have a much higher post count.

i think that because you have been a member for only 1 and half years and you already have over 5k post is what it is mate, plus your name ends up the last reply to a lot of topics, bit like me really, i reply to a lot and yeah i have a high post count, but as for post count, who gives a fcuk, its only a number, you wanna see people post on passion ford, fcuk me thats proper spaming on there.
ok we have a random room and you like many others have replied to a lot in there, then you get things like mallets mallet and the now dead never ending story, they all racks the post count up,
some people see these threads as spamming, and while im talking of spaming, we have all done it at some point, some more than others but we are all guilty of it, everytime thread goes off topic...., even if its a simple, hello mate long time no post, or something, its taken it off topic right there, so everyone is guilty of doing so.

as for msn, thats all well and good but means nothing as its fcuk all to do with the site, so thats got to be to do with the thread which go off topic and turn into a chat topic, but then again people have said about a shout box which you can chat on and im yet to see one....

also i think what you and everyone else wants to take into account here is that the forum is quite, its not as busy as it used to be, ok some members left when the site played up and never come back, some of the new members dont seem to mingle like they used to and other members now seem to keep them selfs to them selfs, so the forum it self has changed a bit

imo, dont let it get to you mate, you have as much right to use this forum as anyone else and no one apart from a mod can tell you other wise, and if there was a big problem with someone spamming im fairly sure capri or andy would of picked it up by now.

I dont think anyone posts too much. I think this forum is a fun, friendly (most of the time) and most of all helpful site to be a part of. God knows what my car would have looked like if i hadnt found this site!

In my opinion, theres nothing wrong with posting a lot, it shows that you are dedicated to the site, even if it is just having a laugh every now and again.

I was gonna jump on the band wagon and call you a post whore which would achieve anything. Then i saw the other side to it.

If anything we need more members on here like you mikey that post more regular than few times a month. As jay mentioned the site has gone very quiet indeed and theres nothing wrong with voicing your opinion on different posts, to keep the site alive and kicking.

I thought the whole post whore thing was just a bit of banter between friends. Didnt realise you was getting all sorts of abuse over this.

I think its the paranoia and the "not knowing who's saying what" thats stopping him from coming along to the ever fun and friendly South East meet, I can totally agree. Whatever has been going on I can only assume that its not meant seriously. I've seen some of the remarks myself but I always assumed they were meant in jest. Without the 'post whores', of which most of us are, lets face it, the forum would be dead. It's good to see people getting involved in the community, especially with the long standing members plus all the newbies recently. I've never known there to be any malicious stuff on the forums or as a result of the forums.

To be honest I'm just as bad, 527 posts in less than 4 months and I do spend a lot of time on here and do post quite a bit as well but at the end of the day it's not like he is posting random crap is it? If he was in general discussion posting random stuff every 10mins then it would be understandable about being talked about but as it goes it is normally useful comments like feedback that he is posting.

Regarding being asked about msn, I was one of them so sorry about that

it's not just msn that's the problem, it's the crap that's going on regarding his post count as well so to be honest what pms you have sent don't really matter. He has every reason to be annoyed if he has heard rumours, remarks and comments going round regarding his post count and to be honest if we were in his position, we would all feel the same

Definately two sides to the story.

It can be frustrating sometimes if people are trying to have a sensible conversation, pop back a couple of hours later and having to trawl through loads of crap to find the next sensible answer.

We used to have a few posts on here, in random, 'FT Late Night Crew' I think. If it's going to be literally just banter why not just have your own topic that you can use for randomness? Although it's not a major problem as far as I'm concerned.

If people are bothered by it they can just block the user, and the posts won't even show.

Thanks guys, its nice to know that people actually do understand it from my side.

Its fine if its a joke as i have said already, but as i said before when people keep saying it over and over and over, you start to wonder if its really joke or not

Its much quicker and easier to arrange things and discuss things on MSN rather than relying on the forums and PM's. Its easier for me anyhow as I have MSN on my Phone so can chat to people anywhere I am. So in short, as you guys could tell i wasn't in the best of moods yesterday.

At the end of the day I am one for having a laugh, and to be honest i don't mind the 'Post whore' jokes as i find most of them funny, i am on about the snidy/malicious ones which are the ones i don't like, these are the ones that i have been hearing about recently and the reason for this thread being made.

As said already i don't want to fall out with anyone on here, so lets just get on with things and keep the site a happy environment once again
