I don't think it is - you say a stupid thing you get a stupid reply tbh. Making a thread laughing about burning someone's bumper then expecting support is kinda silly in the first place is it not? :lol:

Dragging posts way off topic with your own banter isn't fair on folks, especially noobs on their first few posts, it's a real kick in the confidence crotch for some people. OTOH, everyones got the right to say what they think. Obviously if something's in random or OT you expect a certain amount of s**t (or a lot, depending on who's posting), but if it's a serious thread then talking about something OT for a page and a bit is hugely unfair.

nick mate, i gotta ask, you say get msn so you dont basicly have a chat on the forum/pm's, and you use it on your phone, but im just wondering, if your going to chat to someone on msn on your phone then why not ring them up :lol:

it would be easier, its not really that different to using the forum to chat when theres msn :lol:

I'm also not a fan of MSN - when I had it installed I couldn't use the PC without at least an hour of replying to people popping on to say hi...

I avoid that by not setting it to run automatically and only running it when I'm free to chat.

I was more on about the sheer intrusiveness of it - you'd have it on to have a quick convo with someone, and you'd then be inundated with people saying hi. Not a problem if these were people you don't know, but when you're friends with the lot you feel bad about just shutting the conversation and feel obliged to reply.

To be honest I've not used MSN for the best part of 8/9 years now so a lot has changed I'm sure, but from my experience it was just more hassle than I could be bothered with.
