Toad AI606 Immobiliser
Can someone tell me how to wire this up? I just thought it was cut the starter wire and bridge it with a pair from the immobiliser, but it doesn't work. When armed the key is dead when trying to start like it should be, but when disarmed all I can hear is the starter whining, like it's spinning but not connecting. I just thought the way I've done it could be wrong because the starter wire is really thick and the immobiliser wires are really thin so thinking there's not enough power going out the other side to power the starter motor properly? I took the immobiliser wires off and reconnected the 2 ends of the starter wire and it's working fine again.
I've only tried doing this with 1 pair of the wires so far, not entirely sure what other wire I need to cut but at the moment I need to get this to work first
Cheers.

Alright Wayne.
I had my toad alarm installed by a fitter so don't know the exact way of wiring it up but I do have a wiring diagram for a A101CL, which should have similar wiring... Add me on MSN or email me if you want it matey.

The only thing I can think of is have you got the correct black wires (I'm sure you have), other than that I'm out of ideas - any local fitters able to help you out?

Well out of the 4 black wires they just had a bit of coloured tape on them to keep them in pairs. Totally skint at the moment to take it to be looked at lol.
