Too much oil burning

Is there anyway of being able to reduce the amount of oil my cars burning?

few ppl at the bodyshops av said it does, n since i got my s/s powerflow exhaust yesterday, you can c it does, cuz theres loads s**t round the tailpipe (nothin major, but still 2 much)

you can get some stuff from halfords called "stop smoke" iv used this before and it seems to work , stoped my xr3i smokin on start up and over run,,. :Q
