Surely some one must have a STANDARD FRST FOR SALE, i will accept a car if it has a d/valve but NOTHING ELSE MUST BE DONE TO IT.
The colour is not important I only want a car which has been looked after,
I'VE ONLY LOOKED AT SIX AND THATS IN 3 MONTHS!!!
Every thing from a pink (a well faded red one) to a K REG Silver one!
I am willing to pay Good money but not over the top !
I will travel but no stupid distances please

if I hadnt said anything about the cam no-one would ever be wiser,
but heh, I'm honest, and thats why this car was a bargain (no hidden secrets).
every FRST will be in need of a cam at around 60-70k miles.
now the Ford one is not as good quality, it is dearer and even Ford didnt have them
when I needed it. (they are rare)
I could have put a 2nd hand Ford one in, but this car is quality and
I dont compromise that with 2nd hand parts.
Honestly you did miss a bargain - and the piper cam shaft gives
much better performance with no down side
the car is Now sold (to the first guy to see it) and another guy wants to gazump him
by giving me more money before he collects it.
you will not be able to tell when you go and see a FRST if it
has modified or non-standard Ford internals,
but most are probably better than genuine Ford parts that were designed and manufactured over 10 years ago.
