Was nice and quiet too....shame that some wallys didn't listen in the drivers briefing that if someone is coming up behind you in your rear view mirror it means they're going faster and want to overtake.....and to let them. Mr cossie didn't like an RS1800 breathing down his neck

Was an excellant day

As Emma said, upset a Cosworth driver who had lots of straight line speed but was half as fast as me through the corners

He definately didn't like it when we went past him.....twice

The R888 tyres are stunning btw

I didn't have a drive in the end for 2 reasons:

1. Shaun didn't take the tool to adjust the seat forward to my position. I can't reach the pedals properly in his position

2. After sitting in on the drivers briefing I then realised that I'd only been around the track twice before and that I didn't know the track at all!! I suddenly got rather nervous after seeing all these grown men sat in there looking like they knew what they were doing....So in march time I'm off there for a driving day so I can have some tuition and get more confident without having to worry about other drivers on track. Then when the season starts next year I'll be happier

Bought all the photos that were taken....saved Shaun £5 on those as well

A friend of mine went to this and i said to him "keep a look out for a Blue RS1800 with a big 67 on the side of it".
He emailed me this morning and said " i think i saw that blue Fiesta, is it the one with Orange wheels?"

Chris, I'll let you know the next one we do, it won't be until next year now as that was the very last one of the year.

Adam, I was the only Fiesta there fella what car was your mate driving ?

Luke, you should of come along mate, it was an excellant day, the driving standards (apart from the Cosworth driver ) were far better than the action days up there.

The best session we had was the very last one where a bloke in a Mi16 powered 205 and us were evenly matched, we had an awesome time out there

I agree, there weren't any (well...bar 1 ) speedy demon numptys trying to prove themselves on the track....much more chilled out and relaxed...top day can't wait til next year....well and truely hooked now!

it's been tucked up in the garage ready for its transplant

Yeah, lots of bits happening over the Winter to it inc, engine, gearbox, 3 way Leda suspension ,
getting the car set up with corner scales as well to get the balance sorted

It will be a different animal next year
