Track Rod End Help :)

Postby JayC on Sun May 06, 2007 1:57 pm

Ive baught 2 track rod ends, besides being sent 2 LH ones.. i actually picked mk4 ones myself as I have a mk3.5 and also thought if the droplinks are the same then they should be.

The other day i had the wheel off and noticed the ones on the Si are strait off the cast, and the MK4 ones are more like P shapes.... the balljoint is offset from the cast length that fits to the end of the steering rack.

Now. so long as they fit into the hub and thread, I should be able to use these shouldent i? alsong as i have them on both sides and have the tracking done.

I was wondering, does the MK4 run a different castor setting?

I did find this, I havent got QH parts  but the listing still says they fit prettymuch everything. maybe i was wrong but im sure they looked different on the Si compared to the ones on my desk.
