i after the grippiest, stickyest tyres money can buy. yes im going to use them on the road so they need to be road legal also

whats options have i got and has anybody got/had any real experinces they can pass on

I get on very well with Yokohama Parada's 8)

The Toyo Proxes R888 is sposed to excellent as well but I've not used it personally

yoko A539's - a mate swears by them for track use and cheap too


toyo R888's - road legal slick - supposed to be very very good


Goodyear Eagle F1's - had em on my impreza - good all round tyre

I've got the 888s. Incredibly sticky!

I wouldn't advise them for daily use in all weathers though, but for track tyres that you can drive to the track on they are perfect.

ever seen those road legal slicks m8, not sure on make/manufacturer tbh but read a review and they sound pretty good, will try and get a link or more info!!

Normal road tyres are crap on track.

Ive used Yokohama A048R's on the rear of my fiesta on the last 2 track days in soft compound and the back end grip is amazing for a road legal tyre!
Got some medium compound for the fronts for bedford this saturday so hoping to have less understeer.

Known a few people use Toyo 888's on track and they all say they go off far too quick.

Also heard nothing but praise for Dunlops.
