Im just wondering if ppl know of any engine mods that could be done to my 1.1 that could then be used on a 2.0 zetec wen i get one in the future !
So ive found an ecotek valve not sure wot other stuff !
Also does anyone know a way to make my 1.1 sound a bit betta i don't want to make it go any betta just sound less fuckin tappety wen its tricking over etc, think i can get hold of a K&N and sum breather filters off my m8 for cheap but not sure of anything else it just sounds terrible at the mo lol !

K & N are a company that manufacture air box'es, induction kits and panel filters etc.
Get your tappets done Mark, will sound a lot quiter, dont know how loud a K & N would be but worth a try.

Go for it mate, tappets can be done by yourself i think but dont you have to do something like the cam or something (sorry dont know too much about engines lol) but I heard that if you just do the tappets on there own then they will just get noisey again in no time.
Best check it out!

tappets are a piece of pee pee to do m8, just do em a time bit tighter than haynes says ! all u goto do is...
air box offf (3 screws)
rocker cover off (4 10mm bolts)
use a feeler guage to adjust the rocker with a ring spanner
done!
to make it sound better on throttle just drill million and hone holes in the air box (you heard mine at cheltnam) easier then pissing about with after market.
some shiney bit will fit both
you still got ur cat?
can turn the fuelling up, ive uped me fuelling and have frst pump (hcs hold 1bar, xr/rs hold 3bar) and seems to run better
