Transferring stereo from car to car.
Am looking to see how easy it is to transfer my Alpine stereo from my mk3 fezza to my new mk4 fezza.
When i got the stereo from the old fezza it leaves the cage behind do i need this cage to transfer stereo, as i can no longer get it.
Am i best just buying a new stereo with cage intact ?

Yes.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Olly, wtf? lol
Mate,
Yes, you can take the stereo from car to car. You will need a wiring harness for the MK4 fiesta and a fascia adaptor for a MK4 fiesta/MK5 fiesta/Puma/Escort. You will also need the cage and associated wiring.
Then just mount the fascia adaptor, mount the cage, put CD player in the cage, plug the wiring harness into the factory wiring, into the back of your radio, and the jobs a good un.
Hope this helps
