Re: TreColl's Mk4! Pre FiTP, Pre-Wash!!

Postby trecoll on Thu May 14, 2009 7:58 pm

OK, So finished colour coding my mirrors today. Not happy with the result so I'll be leaving them on for FiTP then taking them off and possibly having them professionally done.

Click for mahooosive full size :)

Then I cleaned it, ok just a pre-wash but still :D
This is the result of £3.49 down the local jet wash - which incidentally, have a water bucket which has a magnet in it. If the brush isn't placed in the water bucket after use the next spray dont work!! - Brilliant!! Oh and the water is kept clean!!

I shall be cleaning again on saturday if the weather is nice, if not Ill just shammy it off, use the speed detailer and wax it :D

Oh and before anyone else says it.

I know its crying out to be lowered!!

Ill be looking for cheap lowering kit aswell as brakes at FiTP :)

Brakes then?

lol, nick, every one knows you NEED a spoiler before you fit a 1.7 otherwise the car is practically undriveable

Actually, a standard Mk4 Spoiler on the back all painted up red would suit this car really well.
Just been looking at the mahoosive pics and I do like it, subtle touches ftw.

Really makes a huge difference. I always think that modified cars don't work without rear spoilers. Makes the rear end look factory :(

Who said anything about painting though? ;)

Waiting to see what they're gonna do :(

Could have bought second hand lowering... true.

But, my discs are warped and pads are low, whereas my suspension at the moment, is fine. So it seems silly to change the suspension and leave the brakes...

I don't think its the springs, its the shock they complain about because they start to leak soon after being bought :P

Just get the bloody thing lowered :x

You can do all the other things after
