TTF Si 2.0 - WOAH! An update! - 29/08/2014
Re: TTF Si 2.0 - Crappy update - 19/04/2012
lol nope it wont
seen the prices?
the idea i had consisted of a 90 bend, straight pipe, 45 bend straight pipe, and another 45 bend (down to the back of the bumper) maf inline and then filter
comes to around £50 using cheaper ebay silicone joiner and proper edged pipes

Yup sure is expensive!
Thats why I was looking 2nd hand. But I might be able to get a whole pipe made custom to how I want on the cheap/free. We shall see though.

1) I dont have one. Don't know where my original one went. Probably left it at my mums house when I moved out couple of years ago and I expect she binned it.
2) I do hate it yes lol
For now I will just leave it like this. It runs perfect, pulls very hard and fast too. It shouldn't be on there for long, a week or 2 max if things go well.
I know its not ideal and it does look s**t, but all I can think at the moment is 'f**k it' lol.

Re: TTF Si 2.0 - Crappy update - 19/04/2012
How many times... its fudgekin temporary. Jesus christ. I'm getting bored of saying it now.
No more chat about 'oh a standard pipe would be better' blah blah blah... maybe it would have been. Who gives a s**t. I clearly dont otherwise I would have gotten one rather than made a fudgekin joke of an inlet pipe.
I only updated it with this s**t just to see who would have a laugh with me about it... Seems no one has a sense of humour on here anymore. At least on other forums everyone understood and was having a laugh about it with me.
Yeah fair enough people try and advise you on the best alternative sometimes... but everyone just need to lighten up a little sometimes instead of banging on about the same s**t over and over again - mainly you jony tbh, seeing as you kept on about it in 3 or 4 of your replies... all after I have said 1) its temporary bodge 2) im getting a proper pipe made up.
I think I will just go back to updating this with serious 'proper' updates rather than random s**t (like this) for a laugh like I do on other forums

I couldn't care less at the moment. Got more important things in life to worry about than a temporary bodge of an inlet pipe
Ryan, you are my hero.
Hurrah! Finally, the humour I was expecting from the start!

Definite LOL bodge, however (sensible side of me here), if the tube is made from fur, is it furry inside? I'd just be concerned about sucking up rouge bits of fur into the TB

Its not furry as such, its just a fabric. Thats the only way to describe it really. If stuff gets sucked in, then so be it lol. I will give it all a good clean out when I change it over anyway, I always do if I take it off for whatever reason, so its always clean inside. Same with the MAF sensor and other bits and bobs
I'm not going to be driving the car loads over the next few days, so its not much to worry about.
I could have just been sensible and stuck the K&N banana pipe back on there, but I hate how s**t it is and sucks it self shut. What if I wanted to race a ferrari and beat it off the lights!?

I mean the fabric does bring the car over the 800bhp mark doesn't it? The K&N only adds a maximum of 100bhp when sucked shut. The only way you wouldn't beat the Ferrari is if the Ferrari also had a fabric air feed pipe.

Yeah, even if you're on the motorway, as soon as it hits 100,000 miles the car will just stop dead where you are. You might as well walk home from then.

Well the car is nearly 1,000 miles over due blowing up! But, the engine iself is only on about 70k, so I have a good 30,000 miles to do yet. I'll try do it by the end of the week. It will be tough, but if I go ferrari hunting for the next couple of days I might be able to make 30k!
MOAR TAPE! lol. Yeah it is better quality. Its gone from a K&N banana pipe which sucked itself shut under load > a fudgekin lol bodge > a slightly better lol bodge.
I already have a proper setup lined up. Told you lot it would be temporary
Might try see if I can stick the air filter out of the fog light hole with the next setup. It will be perfect, the cold air will get directly to the filter, which means more power, also, when it rains, it will suck up water, that means the engine will have its own 'water cooling' system like race cars too. Although theres is more technical because its injects water, mine just sucks it all up, so really because mine is sucking up as much as it can, it should keep the engine extra cool. And we all know how your not allowed to let the engine get hot because that can cause all sorts of problems!
