TTF Si 2.0 - WOAH! An update! - 29/08/2014
Re: TTF Si 2.0 - Small update, RR result and other shiz 20/02/12
In all fairness, you may have some family or personal problems at the moment, but there is/was no need to go off on one about simple little things, as usual.
I have my own personal and family problems going on at the moment, but it stays personal and doesn't affect 'forum life' as it were.

'insert gay rap term' lol love how the forum changes words sometimes... it was meant to say 'b l i n g'
Yeah, you ideally need bonnet raisers for it to shut properly. That why I will be making an oval-ish pipe to compensate that if need be.
Cheers mate It sure has. I looked over the thread from when I got it until its most recent update and a fair bit has happened! Still a couple more small things to do yet looks wise that I want to do and then engine work too... but that can happen over the next 12 months or so because I'm in no major rush just yet

and we dont want any gay bonnet raisers now do we
if you consider it had a dead engine 2 months ago, its a very nice feelig im sure!
anyone who wasnt an enthusiast would have had it scrapped at that point (or them without mechanical minds)

Slam the bonnet hard enough and it will fit. you can just pretend it has a power bulge

Re: TTF Si 2.0 - Couple of random pics - 26/02/12
Sup y0!
Good evening in other words.
Not really an update, but just a couple of quick pictures.
So, I was out and about today and near an old location I took a couple of pictures back in april 2010... Here is one, which you may or may not remember:
So I thought I would go back to the same place, try park in the same position and snap a picture.
I'm sure you will look at both and try spot all the differences, but there isn't really that many to be fair, only noticeable ones are pop out windows, its lower, standard rear lights, bonnet, the weather is nicer and the fact the new picture is out of focus lol. Eagle eyed members will notice the 2nd rear arb, refurbed wheels, lower profile tyres, re-painted calipers and a superman air freshener lol.
Another random one:
Also, as you know, a few of us went to Devil Development for a rolling road day, I nabbed a few window stickers and very subtly put one under the spoiler. You can hardly notice it from the outside of the car unless you look for it. Stealth mode sticker! And before anyone says it not straight, it is, the headlining isn't for some reason... something ill sort out tomorrow.
Think thats it really. Only did this update because I was bored

Yup
B two weeds have grown since
They have indeed, and the grass is longer lol
C car got greener
Due to sunlight - the first picture was in the shade, the 2nd is in the sun.
D rust appear at bottom of drivers side wing
Thats always been there, just looks more obvious in the sun.
E she got lower
Indeed she has!
F new air freshener
Yup! I used to HATE having stuff hanging from the mirror, but I've gotten used to that now lol.

You'd be surprised how subtle the sticker is, unless you know its there, you wouldn't be able to see it - unless of course your having a good nosey around the car. I'll get a picture of the back of the car later and you'll see what I mean

Re: TTF Si 2.0 - 22/03/2012
Nothing much to report really. Car is going well, obviously. Nearly at 100k now!
Erm... parked next to a bunch of cocks the other day...
Then today I found a speedbump... nearly killed the underneith of my car - well in fact my car got completely stuck on the 2nd speedbump I found - the lower strut brace was sitting on it and the wheels lost traction
So yeah, I got some 3 wheel action going on one speedbump. (1 second shutter speed + spining wheel = motion effect)
Video of me spinning the wheel for all you who think its fake (not a huge gap, probably about 15mm... I could have got a bigger gap if I centralised the car more on the speedbump, but who cares, it was on 3 wheels either way lol)
And also, the other speedbump I found - the one I could actually just about drive over at an angle - the exhaust clamp is scraping, not the exhaust

73k when I got it, well when I got it home.. yeah I sure have racked up the miles, I dont know how either, just aimless driving around I guess! I have also been around the country a fair few times too, which could explain it.
It does get driven everyday pretty much, but it does also get looked after too and regularly serviced so I see no problem. The new engine is on around 60-70,000 miles, so that should be good for another few years at least hopefully! Just need to keep on top of the rust, which there isnt loads of, but as everyone knows, fiestas do suffer with it.
Overall, its a fairly clean car though

bad news
i f*ucking hate people who do this. the same thing happend to me 2 year ago, got the car out the garage forgot i had to get something from home, parked it outside, i was indoors for about 10mins and someone had smashed into my front wing couldnt believe it when i see it.
last year i was on my way out and see my sisters ka had been smashed into, rear bumper was on the floor and the rear quater was stoved in, as usual noone see who done it. the car that hit it made their mudflap fall off and i knew it was a mk4 fiesta in white. next day when i was looking at it a white mk4 fiesta with 3 mudflaps drove past slow. i dropped everything and chased the baxtered up the road till he stopped. claimed through he's insurance and got it all sorted just lucky i was out there when he drove past.
