Re: TTF - Si *small update 6/3/09*
small update no pics
bought some longer wheel studs today from rally design, at 95p each
gona be fitted on the rears to hopefully sort out the coilovers for when i go round corners to fast
also once fitted ill get some 5mm spacers, 2mm up from the current ones as im sure thats the cause of the noise

Re: TTF - Si *few poly's 1/5/09*
not done much in the past month or two,
bought a set of brand new Infinity Components at a bargain price from you know were, which are fitted in the fronts,
also done a little refurbing on the front door cards
last week at combe bought a few polybushes off Scott at a bargain price and brand new as well. They are the front arb, and the front top mounts.
the arb bushes took longer to fit than the top mounts such small bolts and such a small area had the smallest ratchet ever
top mounts
i fitted the two sets on different days so i could see what a difference each set made individaully. the arb made a slight difference but can really feel the top mounts.
also some people may no i have bought a set of ST150 brakes and calipers. been waiting on a few bits mainly these before i could fit them
ordered them about 2 weeks ago, was told they would take a week to arrive
cant wait to get them fitted hopefully before fitp

Re: TTF - Si *Brakes on 7/6/09*
Well had them sitting in my room for over a month, thought was about time i looked at fitting my new brakes. Some people will know they are ST150 brakes and ive also fitted Goodridge lines whilst i was there, to get the most out of them.
Reason it took so long because i wanted someone to help fit them as never done it before and such a vital thing. Did enquire about getting them professionally fitted but would cost £150.
So i just said stuff it and fitted them myself
im glad i did in the end as its not as hard as it sounds and good experience. still bedding them in got another 100 miles or so till i can use them properly, but can feel such a difference already plus no squeaking any more
old brakes, look alright this side
other side, thats what was causing the squealing, same for other 1 as well
caliper fitted
Goodrdige lines
all working
look at the clearance
they only just fit and i have had to take the inside weights off for the moment till i have sorted the calipers. i have put 3mm spacers on for now as its the only way the caliper doesnt obstruct the wheel. i have started filling down the calipers so i can fit the wheel without spacers. think it will be possible to do but will take a while, hence why they are not painted yet. im also taking opinons on colours?
just cant wait to use them proper now
