Of course there are beautifull cars in this forum, the xr2i's, etc, but an SI i've never seen a "simple" looking car with such an atitude, it's photo really scream like "I'm a baaaaaad maaaan!" Lol!

Tell a thing mate, where did you buy the breaking lines? Do you feel notorious difference?

Thanks!

Thanks mate! Gonna check it!
My brakes are full stock, besides i have 13 inch wheels is dificult to put some escort brakes without changing the wheels!

But i guessed that the brake lines could give a bit help specially at heavy braking!

It needs as we say here in portugal: needs steel on it!

For you guys there are bargains! Here the cheapest stuff only robbed! Lol!

Yeah, those exhaust mounts were awful to do. Shame the beam bolts were rubbish, try wd40 ing them for a week or so, see if they loosen up at all. Reminds me of spending 3-4 hours on the mazda lower arm bolt

Action shot, as requested

Flocking stuff was from a place called frosts.co.uk, cost about £20 for the kit

Thanks for the help mate!

So besides the braided lines, for 13" wheel is there any other option to improve braking?

I know about the drilled non vented discs, but any more that that?

Calipers... whatever?

Once again....

Thanks! :D

It is a bot out of budget nuying from you, because I have some "half" jobs for mechanics and cair painting and have some meetings, which can get me used stuff for the same size as you aproximatelly.

Anyway thanks a lot!

Really helpfull!

Jesus man!

Sorry I wrote absolute sh%t!

Your price is a bit out of budget. Buying from you will be more expensive than buying here in Portugal, because I my freetime job is mechanic and cair painting and have some car part selling meetings, which can get me used stuff for the same price as you aproximatelly.

Understood?

Sorry mate! :D

Not much of an update but an update is an update

firstly found the picture i meant to uplad of the poly exhaust bushes which are a b****** to fit.
Image

also bought a show cage off of another member. thanks to chris (chrisxr2it3 formerly chris18rst). always wanted one, i no its not a proper cage and it wont do anything but i like it and it fills up some of the space left in the boot and ways nothing so no real weight added.
Image
Image
Image

also have raised the back up a tad now so its more or less even each in, mainly because i was scrapping out over every bump and just getting off my drive. not just a minor scrap either, proper big styli!

comments welcome

i cant see that being true, where does it mount?

if you brace the top of the suspension and arb's are at the bottom, seperate influences

Spray that cage thing matt black, should make it look a bit better.

Yeah, also a rear strut brace may help, barely noticably, but it will fill up that part of the interior, only cost about £40
