Just wondering if any1 has any tips for tuning a 1.4si Engine mods etc

Very little tuning is available for these engine because they are even more restrictive than the 1600 Zetec without major headwork and management fiddling.

Cheapest BHP per £ you will get is to convert to an 1800 or 2.0L engine and management :)

how much differance would an induction kit make? how much is one??

Hi there

I work for Ramair and an induction kit adds about 5Bhp and increases throttle responce, also you get that deep throaty induction roar!
A Ramair Induction kit costs from £50 - £120 But I dont think we make a induction kit for a 1.4. But also you can fit a universal filter on, you just need the diameter of the AFM . They cost around £30 - £50

No1 You should know this!... The 1.6 Si one fits perfectly as they both have the same MAF sensor.


Mate, get in touch as I'll have one for sale real soon (new the ramair for the si is £95!!! :o )
