tuning a 1.4 cvh mk3.5suggestions
ok as above, have a 1.4 1995 cvh the mk3.5 one. its got a airbox, so efi type i think.
wanted to know any advice to tune it slightly. I know theres not a lot of point, but may give it a go all the same. new leads and plugs worth doing? and was thinking of cleaning allthe air intake work and throttle body, then was going to bore out the throttle body slighlty. could this be worth doing?
also read this on a information site
". The 1.4 version is less tuneable than other CVH's, and some top-end parts are not interchangeable with the most common tuning parts; however replacing the carb with the common Weber 32/34 DMTL plus the appropriate inlet manifold makes them more driveable, albeit with a small increase in fuel consumption."
whats the DTML? and mine doesnt have a carb, it has a airbox and pipe that goes over the top of the engine to the throttle body.
any ideas / suggestions other than putting in a bigger lump

Install 1.6 crankshaft in it and be different. This is a way to increase ur capacity to near 1500cc that is not easy to find in MOT or something. But i have no idea what the engine will be like after that mod.
