Tuning my 1.1

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

I have a 93' 1.1 HCS but with CFi, this is confusing me, as it is only single point injection can I not have an induction kit ?
Does the CFi replace the carburetter, because when asking about KN bolt on filters, they asked if it was carb, help me this is my first car.
Is a bolt on filter better than a replacement filter and does it matter if it is KN or Pipercross etc.
Its only done 7000 miles as it was my nans, and is running smoothly and i have got a Peco backbox, can anyone help me with how i can tune it up any more ?

Thanks Dan

Yep the CFi unit replaced the carb, I'm sure you can get a bolt on K&N filter for it though and that is better than just a replacement filter. I'd go for the K&N myself

to be honest m8, y are you bothering? its a 1.1, it will ALWAYS be slow, just thrash the bast4rd within an inch of its life. £60 or so for a filter could be saved and spent on body mods or a stereo, both of which you will see noticeable improvement in. oh AND THINK OF THE INSURANCE! :aaah: :aaah: :aaah:

leave it a year and swap it out for Pauls 1800 that he ishopefully not gonna sell by then [ERRR] i w4nt it
