Tuning my engine come on boys!

CVH and Zetec tuning, suspension and braking mods.

Ive got the 1.6cvh lump, ive got the manifold and all that changed to a multi branch, ive got a filter and different carbs, what else can i do to get some power out of it?

cam, get the head flowed, stronger conrods, bigger valves, bigger pistons, etc etc...what carbs are u running?

for 175bhp ur looking at an all-steel bottom end, PLENTY of headwork, uprated cam, twin 48DCOE carbs!! and ur looking at LOADSA cash as well!!!

well im not looking to spend that much on this engine as im looking to build a zvh from scratch for about a year,then whack that in its just i want a bit more power for now,basic things...

in that case just go for a bit of head work and a cam and u should be set for a while

ur looking at around £200-300 for the head work and say another £100-150 or so on the cam...all in all around £500 and u'll be looking at a quite big increase in power...as for where u can take it...theres a place i know in my area (london) thats really good at doing head work if u wanna come down one day....company name is Vulcan Engineering...dunno if uve heard of them?

yeh ive heard of them,so how many more ponys do think ill get,sounds like a good price ill probably think of doing that in a about a month,ive basically finished my car on the outside, but still need interior,and a phat engine.Ive got my driving test on monday in the pissing rain,then hopefully ill be crusin.what do u drive mate?
